Apple Matcha Juice Recipe with Lemon

A hand holding a glass of iced green apple matcha drink beside fresh apple slices and matcha powder.

If your usual juice is starting to feel a little familiar, matcha gives this one a different direction. Crisp apple and lemon keep it bright, while matcha brings an earthy finish that works especially well in the morning or over ice later in the day.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tsp (4 g) matcha powder
  • About 3 tbsp (40 ml) warm water

Directions

Wash all the produce thoroughly.

Peel the lemon and remove the apple seeds.

Juice the apples and lemon.

In a small bowl, whisk 2 tsp of matcha powder with about 3 tbsp of warm water at 158–176°F (70–80°C) until smooth and free of lumps.

Stir the matcha into the fresh juice. Add ice if desired and enjoy immediately.

Try It Your Way

  • Creamier → Add milk or plant-based milk
  • Fizzy → Add sparkling water

Do not add matcha powder directly to the juicer. Dissolve it in warm water first, then stir it into the finished juice for a smoother texture and more even flavor.
