Ingredients

  • 5 carrots
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 apple
  • 2 lemons
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger
  • 1/2-inch piece fresh turmeric
  • Pinch of black pepper

Directions

Wash all the produce thoroughly.

Peel the oranges and lemons, and remove the apple seeds.

Cut the produce into pieces that fit comfortably in the hopper.

Juice the carrots, oranges, apple, lemons, ginger, and turmeric.

Finish with a pinch of black pepper, stir, and divide into four small servings.

Try It Your Way

  • Milder → Use less ginger

Add black pepper after juicing. Its naturally occurring piperine may help improve the absorption of curcumin from turmeric.

Turmeric can stain hands, countertops, and juicer parts, so rinse any splashes and juicer components soon after use.
