Ingredients

  • 10.6 oz (300 g) raw almonds
  • 1  1/4 cups (300 ml) fresh water
  • 2–3 dates

Directions

Soak the almonds in water overnight, or for at least 8 hours, in the refrigerator.

Soak the pitted dates in warm water for about 10–15 minutes, until softened.

Drain and rinse the almonds thoroughly.

Install the fine strainer, then add the almonds, dates, and fresh water to the juicer in small batches.

Try It Your Way

  • Richer → Use a little less water
  • Lighter → Add more water

Try the same method with cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, or pecans. Soaking times may vary by nut.

For an easy, consistent ratio, use a kitchen scale to measure the almonds and water before you start.
